Microsoft Outlook automatically groups items by date. However, you can also group items manually by using standard arrangements (arrangement: A predefined combination of grouped and sorted messages in table view.) or by creating your own custom grouping.
My favourite grouping is now "By conversation".
This is very convenient when having long exchanges by mail with the same subject.
- On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Customize current view.
- Click Group By and then select Conversation.
- Click Ascending or Descending for the sort order of the group headings.
Working in Customer Service
Answering to angry customer's phone calls can be very tiresome and stressful, no matter how stress-resistant you are.
I suggest this tiny little advice for those of you who work in the field. This is a trick I found myself today.
While holding the receiver / headphone on the right ear, place the headset of your iPod in the left ear. Put your favourite song on and concentrate for a moment to the rhythm. This feels great.
You can try it too, but watch out for your boss! :)

- You can download a very large list of books of classics from Amazon site. Go to Kindle Store and search by "free kindle books" and then sort by "Price - Low to High" (in the result list there are also books that aren't totally free). You'll see lots of famous writers and titles that you can download for free.
- You can go to Gutenberg project site. This is a site with classic books, for which the copyright has expired. you can download over 32,000 free ebooks to read on your Kindle, iPad, Sony Reader, iPhone, Android or other portable device.
- ManyBooks.net. This is a site with free books, reviews and recommendations. I found a book written by French novelist André Maurois, "General Bramble".
- Bookyards.com with books in French and Spanish.
- Feedbooks.com - where you can also publish your book or downoad public domain books like Kama Sutra or Nietzsche's The AntiChrist.
Life is half over at age ten
In a groundbreaking article, T. L. Freeman discusses the relationship between actual age and effective age1. His conclusion is that the passing of the years goes faster as we grow older. This makes sense; for instance when you are 10 years of age, a year represents 10% of your life, and seems like a very long time. However, when you are 50 years old, one year has reduced to only 2% of your life, and hence seems only one-fifth as long.

Fruit is marvellous, but our society has taught us a bad habit regarding the time we eat it. We often finish our meal by eating an apple. As this fruit digests quicker (in about 30 minutes) than most of the other cooked food (meat, pasta, cheese etc), it will cause fermentation and indigestion and our body will be unable to absorb the essential nutrients that we wanted to get from the fruit.
What we consider to be a desert it is in fact a snack or a meal by itself that should be taken separately. The correct time to eat the fruit is an hour before a meal. This way, vitamins will be correctly absorbed.
