If you are thinking of visiting Barcelona, I recommend staying in comfortable holiday apartments in the heart of the city. They are ideal for families and larger groups.

No need for bus or metro as all major city sites and attractions are close by, including the beach.

The apartments are located in a small, exlusive street between Las Ramblas and Plaza Real, and the street entrance gets locked every night to ensure the safety of the residents. (Of course, you would have the keys to the entrance.) The building itself is a modernist work of art built in 1857, recently renovated, and has a porter.
