How long should you brush your teeth

By Emilia Despa in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

A good tip is to turn the radio on when you brush your teeth, as dentists recommend 3-4 minutes of brushing, just about how much a song lasts.

How I managed to keep my skin moist

By Chloe Battaglia in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  1 comments

Hydration and exfoliation are the key words. There is a lot of litterature about this subject. Some think that you must drink 2 liters of water per day, others disagree. I personally managed to keep my skin hydrated by combining a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables (by the way, they contain a lot of water) with a regular exfoliation to remove the dead skin cells.

There are several cosmetics that you can prepare yourself at home, with basic natural ingredients: face masks, hair masks, treatment for hands etc. Cucumber, honey and egg are just 3 of many other natural stuff that can do miracles for your skin. Make sure to use fruits and vegetables of the season, fresh and rich in vitamins.

By Anne Parois in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

Even if you have a very long hair, you will dry your hair in 15 minutes if you use this technique: 1. Take a very smooth towel and gently press your hair with 2. With your head down, use your both hands passing the fingers through the locks. 3. Slowly move your head in the air, in small circles. This is also good for your neck. Optionally, use some styling moose to maximize the volume.

Beauty products ingredients dangerous for your skin

By Myriam Benali in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

Here's a tip that certain beauty companies won't like because it contains an inconvenient truth about cosmetic products.

Most of the time we don't pay attention at the product's label. It contains a lot of ingredients difficult to pronounce and it doesn't say much to us.

For instance, I believed that Sodium Laureth Sulfate (also known as SLES) is a classic component in most of the cleansing products, with no harm to the skin. After a little reading, I found out  that Sodium Laureth Sulfate contains a low level of a carcinogen element, 1,4-Dioxane that may cause skin damage and eye irritation. It can be absorbed through the scalp and skin from shampoos, bath and shower gels, and other personal care products.

Check a list of ingredients that are considered dangerous for the human skin.

Next time I will be more careful when choosing my shampoo.

Ivatherm is the first Romanian dermocosmetic company recommended by dermatologists.

All Ivatherm products contain Herculane thermal spring water. I tested their foundation, which is great. It is made especially for sensitive skin and is long-lasting.
