  1. You can download a very large list of books of classics from Amazon site. Go to Kindle Store and search by "free kindle books" and then sort by "Price - Low to High" (in the result list there are also books that aren't totally free). You'll see lots of famous writers and titles that you can download for free.
  2. You can go to Gutenberg project site. This is a site with classic books, for which the copyright has expired. you can download over 32,000 free ebooks to read on your Kindle, iPad, Sony Reader, iPhone, Android or other portable device.
  3. ManyBooks.net. This is a site with free books, reviews and recommendations. I found a book written by French novelist André Maurois, "General Bramble".
  4. Bookyards.com with books in French and Spanish.
  5. Feedbooks.com - where you can also publish your book or downoad public domain books like Kama Sutra or Nietzsche's The AntiChrist

How to turn 57 elegantly

By Emilia Despa in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

Read this book - The Elegance of the Hedgehog, by Muriel Barbery.

Or the French title - "L'Élégance du hérisson" is a must-read for every woman that turns 57 and feels this world is a fake. Or 12 and thinks suicidal.

Romantic and cinical, funny and witty, childish and profound, this book made me read every line of all its 385 pages.

I suggest you not to read the sunopsis before reading the book. Its a spoiler :)
