How to find your IP address

For Windows users:

  • go to Start and click Run... 
  • Type cmd. A black box will appear. 
  • Type in ipconfig and press Enter. 

Your IP address will be displayed. Other informations like your DNS address may appear.

Paste text without formatting on Mac OS X

When you copy-paste a text with formatting instead of cmd+v, paste it cmd+shift+alt+v. This way you'll get rid of bold, underline, hyperlinks and other stuff like that.
