Beauty products ingredients dangerous for your skin

By Myriam Benali in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

Here's a tip that certain beauty companies won't like because it contains an inconvenient truth about cosmetic products.

Most of the time we don't pay attention at the product's label. It contains a lot of ingredients difficult to pronounce and it doesn't say much to us.

For instance, I believed that Sodium Laureth Sulfate (also known as SLES) is a classic component in most of the cleansing products, with no harm to the skin. After a little reading, I found out  that Sodium Laureth Sulfate contains a low level of a carcinogen element, 1,4-Dioxane that may cause skin damage and eye irritation. It can be absorbed through the scalp and skin from shampoos, bath and shower gels, and other personal care products.

Check a list of ingredients that are considered dangerous for the human skin.

Next time I will be more careful when choosing my shampoo.
