Free hot spots in Paris

By Chloe Battaglia in Paris  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

It is not a secret anymore that Paris has free internet hot spots in all parks and public gardens. Yuppy yey!

So, if before we rather went to a café to surf on the internet and catch up of Facebook or Twitter, now we can do it on a bench in the park, while smelling the flowers and watch kids play. Thanks to Mairie de Paris, Jardin de Luxembourg, Tuileries or les Halles are now fitted with wi-fi connection, Spell [wee-fee], please!

I browsed the net and I found this map with all hot spots available in Paris.

You can also get directions on the site, there are specific signs indicating the hot spot:

The wi-fi zone is available from 7am to 11pm, the connection is called Wi-Fi ORANGE.

In order to catch this wi-fi connection, open a browser and type any address. You are automatically redirected to the portal. Once on the homepage of the service, click on "SELECTIONNEZ VOTRE PASS" , fill out the form, accept the terms and conditions of the service and sign in. On the homepage, you will see the elapsed time session (you have 2 hours of continuous connection), You can reconnect to the network with no extra conditions. You will just be asked to sign again.
