Heathrow Airport Transfer
The easiest, cheapest and best way to get from the airport to city centre is by tube. The average journey time to central London is about 50 - 60 minutes. Tubes run every five minutes at peak times and every nine minutes at off-peak times and weekends. The cost is roughly £4.
#transportationParis Transportation
A carnet of ten tickets (11.60 euros for central Paris), valid on metro, RER, bus and tram, is cheaper than buying individual tickets (1.60 euros). Tickets should be validated when you get onto the bus or go through the metro barrier. Hold onto your ticket in case of spot inspections and to get out of RER stations.
Metro is open from 5.30am to 0.30am, extended until around 1am on Friday and Saturday nights.
#paris#transportationBikes in Barcelona
While Barceloneta Bikes or BudgetBikes can be rented by everyone, including tourists, Bicing is a public eco-friendly program initiated by the mayor especially for residents. Bicing is a new way to travel from one point to the other and reduce noise and pollution in the city. Most of the bike centres are close to bus stations, metro stations and parking areas.
There are more than 300 bike centres in Barcelona.

Taking the Metro in Barcelona
Barcelona has an excellent subway service, with 5 lines connecting the centre of the city to each one of its districts. A one-way ticket is 1,40€ and can be bought from the metro's automatic vending machines.
I advise you to buy a T-10 ticket which is 7.85€ and allows you to travel in groups of 2 or more persons. The ticket allows any number of travel combination but the duration of the trip is limited to 1h15min.

Many of the station are provided with street-level lifts for the elderly or people with reduced mobility.

There are underground map at the entrance and on the platforms of each stations, so you can check to which station takes you closer to to place you want to go.
I also suggest to keep the ticket with you, because the fine for not having a valid travel card is 50€.

#transportationBarcelona traveling
When visiting Barcelona, you can buy a Barcelona Card. It offers unlimited free travel on public transport and free admission and discounts at around 100 visitor attractions. The card costs €24 for a 2-day period.
#transportation#travelLondon public transportation
When in London buy an Oyster card from any subway station. It's the fastest and cheapest way to pay for journeys on bus or Tube.
Oyster cards are charged with an amount of credit of your choice. You can make as many journeys as you like in a 24 hour period and you will be charged less than you would pay for a paper ticket. If you make lots of journeys, the Oyster card will automatically cap the day's charges at the price of an equivalent Day Travelcard or One Day Bus Pass.
The aim is to ensure that Oyster always charges the lowest fare. Where it doesn't, you can get a refund.
#transportation#travelThings you can do on your way to work
If you’re like me and you’re leaving at least 1 hour earlier to arrive to work on time, you may already know that public transportation may become monotonous.
What can you do during 60 mins?
#transportation#workChoosing your bike
When you decide to buy yourself a bike for the first time, it is important to choose what fits you well.
You need to take into consideration 3 things:
What is your height?
What is more important for you: comfort or speed?
If you're a woman, there are several manufacturers that have specific models created for ladies.
Buy a hybrid bike if you plan to ride city roads and see lots of places as a tourist. In Barcelona, the bikes they rent are hybrid bikes. They combine the advantages of an upright mountain bike with the efficiency of a road bike.
