#twitterDisplay the full URL behind shortened URLs with Google Chrome extension
With more and more sites using shortened URLs, it's difficult to know where a link is actually leading. Fortunately, if you're using Chrome you can download an extension that lets you see the entire URL behind shortened URLs just by hovering over the link.
View Thru expands short URLs and display the full URL as a tool tip over the short URL. It supports bit.ly, cli.gs, ff.im, goo.gl, is.gd, nyti.ms, ow.ly, post.ly, su.pr and tinyurl.com.

Add hashtags to TweetMeme retweets
You can add hashtags to the end of the Tweet that the Retweet Button generates using tweetmeme_hashtags option. You can add any number of Hashtags separated by comma.

tweetmeme_url = '[YOUR URL]';
tweetmeme_hashtags = '[TAGS COMMA SEPARATED]';
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://tweetmeme.com/i/scripts/button.js"></script>
Twitter's whale
Fail Whale is what you see when visiting the twitter.com website during the times that it's unavailable. It was designed by Yiying Lu.
Lu created a site with all of the Fail Whale inspired images she could find last year. You can see the entire collection of images on Lu's website.
#twitter#webTwitter image host
Img.ly is not just another image host for Twitter. It has a great design and, unlike most sites, minimal advertising.
Not only it looks fine, but it's also one of the most feature rich image hosts out there: you can tag users in images, you can embed images in your website along with tagged users, you can leave comments without having to tweet them, and more.
If you aren't an Img.ly user yet, you should start right away!
#images#twitterTip: How to find new people to follow
Google developed an application which helps you find people to follow on Twitter.
Follow Finder analyzes public social graph information (following and follower lists) on Twitter. You just type in the username and the search suggests you tweeps you might like and Tweeps with similar followers.
#twitterTweeps - New word invented by Twitter
Tweeps comes from the conjuction of Twitter+people+s and it designates a person with a mutual following on Twitter.
