So this magic tool is called What the Trend and breaks down the mystery regarding the trending topics on Twitter.

This goes also for professionals. By subscribing to the Pro Trend service, they can access to a lot more information about trending topics: descriptions, statistics, definitions, reports by date, category and rank.

Display the full URL behind shortened URLs with Google Chrome extension

By Sorin Olexiuc in Anywhere  |  1 year ago  |  0 comments

With more and more sites using shortened URLs, it's difficult to know where a link is actually leading. Fortunately, if you're using Chrome you can download an extension that lets you see the entire URL behind shortened URLs just by hovering over the link.

View Thru expands short URLs and display the full URL as a tool tip over the short URL. It supports bit.ly, cli.gs, ff.im, goo.gl, is.gd, nyti.ms, ow.ly, post.ly, su.pr and tinyurl.com.

Twitter image host

By Jim Robinson in Anywhere  |  2 years ago  |  0 comments

Img.ly is not just another image host for Twitter. It has a great design and, unlike most sites, minimal advertising.

Not only it looks fine, but it's also one of the most feature rich image hosts out there: you can tag users in images, you can embed images in your website along with tagged users, you can leave comments without having to tweet them, and more.

If you aren't an Img.ly user yet, you should start right away!
